The International Convention on Human Rights is a Research Project within the Institute for Global Challenges at the University of California, Berkeley, Boalt Hall School of Law.

Our job was to create a Community System to support this new initiative by creating a site that is both educational and open for participation, providing a process for individuals, organizations and governments to draft a new document,

an International Convention on Human Rights, as part of a continuing evolution of human rights documents. Our vision is to facilitate an international dialogue about how the rights set forth in the Universal Declaration can be "fully realized" by the 100th anniversary of the Declaration in 2048.
